Like most of the UK during December I caught a horrible cough and cold from my pesky kids. However, we kept going as December has been extremely busy with no let up of deadlines and challenges.

New clients

I went to see a few of our lovely new clients in Bournemouth, after our recent accountancy business acquisition. I was awesome to meet them in person, to understand them and their business in more detail and to discuss how best to support them in understanding their financials and ensuring profitable business growth..

More Awards

December saw NDC win the “Most Client-Focused Accountancy Business in Somerset” award from the SME News Finance Awards 2022 and a very surprising and humbling “Supplier Of The Year” award from a recruitment agency client who are based in London! The validation from these awards is incredible and demonstrates that as a business, we really deliver on our promises.


As December draws to a close my thoughts are already on plans for next year and how NDC moves forward. I’m looking to increase the number of coaching sessions that I offer, we’re aiming at increasing the number of positive impacts we make from our charitable work with B1G1 (we set a target in 2022 of 10,000 positive impacts and actually hit 22,000!) and of course, I’m looking to add lots more innovative and exciting clients to our portfolio – to aid financial understanding and increase profitability, whilst making finance fun with an engaged and personable accountancy business!
