Welcome to NDC’s February Monthly Round Up!
February has been a busy month for us here at NDC, with lots of exciting events and achievements to report.
To kick off the month, I attended the Weston College’s Celebration of Success Awards ceremony with my wife. It was truly inspiring to see the hard work and dedication of the students being recognised and rewarded.
On a personal note, I took a week off during half term to spend some quality time with my kids. It was a much-needed break and I came back to work feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the new challenges and projects ahead.
In terms of business, we’re pleased to announce that we signed up five new clients in February, which included clients in the construction, coaching and IT industries. We quite often see a ramp up in queries from clients who wish to seek a proactive and engaging accountancy business for the upcoming new financial year and this year has been no different!
I also had the pleasure of speaking at Mark Wickerham’s Profitable Bookkeeping Conference. I spoke at three different sessions, which is something I love to do – coaching other accountants and bookkeepers across the world. The sessions were meant to be 45 minutes long, but we had so many great questions that they ended up running over!
At the end of February, we had a chap called Tyler come in for work experience with us. He got to experience the day-to-day running of the business including our systems, processes and even sitting in on a prospect meeting and we’re looking forward to having him back for another day before he starts his qualifications.
To give you an idea of just how busy we’ve been this month, here are the numbers: we had 12 phone calls, 23 Zoom calls, 4 webinars, and 19 face-to-face meetings. What a month it’s been!
Overall, February has been a successful month for us. We’re proud of our achievements and excited to see what the rest of the year holds for us. Stay tuned for more updates!
