Monthly Round Up – June 2023

Hello everyone,

Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? Time certainly flies when you’re having fun and staying productive, and as I near the end of my 30’s, this fact seems even more poignant!

June saw me diving headfirst into the festival scene at Download. The weather was scorching, and getting the chance to see Metallica not once, but twice, was an experience for the books.

Away from the mosh pits and back to the conference halls, I had the fantastic opportunity to take the stage at Mark Wickersham’s business advisory conference. As a seasoned attendee, it was a pleasure to offer my insights and interact with like-minded professionals.

On the home front, NDC is growing! We’re in the process of recruiting new team members, ranging from apprenticeships upwards. I look forward to introducing our new colleagues to you very soon.

We’re also broadening our horizons with ventures into the property sector. Advising clients within this industry is proving to be an exciting new challenge that we’re embracing with open arms.

Speaking of clients, we’ve welcomed another five on board, including an investor from Australia keen to partner with us. Some of the industries introduced to the NDC family are within recruitment, construction and graphic design and we can’t wait to work with these exciting businesses. The growth and diversity of our client base continue to inspire and motivate us.

And in recognition of our hard work and dedication, we’ve been honoured with yet another award – Most Trusted Accountancy Firm 2023 as awarded by the Worldwide Finance Awards. That’s six in the last nine months! It’s truly rewarding to have our efforts validated in such a prestigious way.

Lastly, on a more personal note, we’ve opened our home to three adorable foster kittens. It’s been a delight witnessing their playful antics and they’re sure adding a dose of joy to our days.
