Presentation And Networking
I was invited to a special pitch event from Voltric, who are a long-standing client of ours. They are an electric vehicle subscription business focused on flexible arrangements with multiple vehicles (and manufacturers). So off I went to Newport in South Wales to listen to Voltric’s vision for the near future along with some really interesting talks from organisations such as Tesla and The Electric Car Scheme, who demonstrated the tax-saving opportunities of salary sacrifice schemes for electric vehicles.

Let’s Play Darts!!
Two awesome pieces of news for the two darts players that we sponsor. Dimitri Van den Bergh won the UK Open in Minehead for the first time EVER and I also visited our client Damon Heta where we discussed some strategic tax planning for the next couple of years, sandwiched in between some humorous photos where I stole his trademark flame hat 🙂

Fine Dining Was On The Menu
An old school friend who I hadn’t spoken to for about 25 years has opened up a restaurant in Bradford-on-Avon, which is only about an hour’s drive from my house. So the wife and I decided to pay a visit and sample some of his amazing cuisine – I had already salivated on Instagram for many months and I can assure you that it was as good as it looks! We had a great catch-up and he has hugely exciting plans to grow his business and perhaps increase the number of sites in the near future.

All About The Travelling
The eclectic nature of our clients and network really shone through this month as we met up with a shoe shop owner, IT expert, beauty therapist and another accountancy business owner. I really do treat these catch-ups as strategy sessions as well as checking in with family and other areas of life where we all share similar highs and lows!
