The month kicked off with a sweltering trip to London for client meetings. Walking from Oxford Street to Paddington in all-black on a 27°C day? Bold move. But it was worth it for the conversations, coffees, and connections made in the capital.
🌍 Coaching in Portugal (again!)
For the third time, I headed out to Portugal for a few days of business coaching with the Value Pricing Academy. There’s something powerful about stepping out of your usual surroundings to work on the business rather than in it – and this trip delivered exactly that.
🛠️ We launched “Engager” – our new practice management system
Big shout-out to the team for pulling this one off. After months of planning, testing, and tweaking, we finally rolled out our new practice management system: Engager.
It’s a massive change to how we manage workflow, onboarding, client comms and internal processes. Still evolving, still learning, but this is a serious upgrade to how we operate as a business.
🎥 30 Day Video Challenge – done & dusted
Yep, we went all in again.
May was dedicated to a 30 Day Video Challenge – creating and posting daily content across our channels. These challenges are exhausting, energising, and always valuable. They keep us sharp and visible, and unsurprisingly, they sparked a wave of new leads (again!).

May wrapped up with an invite to speak at Xerocon – one of the biggest events in the accounting and bookkeeping calendar. I spoke about the power of video and content marketing for modern firms, and how we’re building a brand that’s authentic, energetic, and actually fun to engage with – more news on this next month!
