🎥 30 Day Video Challenge – round 8!
We wrapped up our eighth 30 Day Video Challenge this November and this round was packed with variety:
✅ Attended a client’s wedding
✅ Marked International Accounting Day
✅ Kept the Making Finance Fun podcast rolling
✅ And had the privilege of meeting the founder of Socket, the clever proposal software we’ve recently adopted!

🏆 We won at the CAPU Search awards (again!)
One of the biggest highlights of the month was heading to London for the CAPU Search Awards, where we were honoured to receive the Supplier of the Year Award for the second year in a row! 🥇
This recognition means a huge amount to us; it’s a nod to the consistency, care and creativity we bring to our clients. Massive thank you to everyone who supports us and continues to champion what we do.
📈 We acquired TaxAssist Weston-super-Mare!
We’ve been working behind the scenes on something major… and at the end of November, we finally announced it.
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve officially acquired TaxAssist Weston-super-Mare!!

⚽ Birthday coaching and dad duties
Not everything was about business this month. I also spent time doing one of my favourite non-work things: coaching my son’s football team (on my birthday, no less!). These are the grounding moments that make the business hustle worthwhile.
🎄 Wrapping up 2024 with gratitude
As we move into the festive season, I just want to say a massive thank you to our team, clients, partners and wider community for another phenomenal year. From video challenges to award wins and new ventures, November was a perfect reflection of what we stand for: energy, ambition, and a commitment to doing things differently.
