NDC September Monthly Update

As we transition from September to October, it’s timely to provide an overview of the significant events and updates from the past month. It’s been a pivotal period of growth, engagement and strategic collaborations.

30-Day Video Diary Challenge
This September, I undertook a challenge to document each day with a video, offering a peak behinf the curtain into the daily highs and lows of life at NDC. This is the sixth time that I’ve completed this challenge and these videos are aimed to provide a deeper understanding of my life at NDC and how we connect and engage with our clients. All videos are readily available on our social media channels for viewing.

Introducing Our New Apprentice, Bobby
This month, we were pleased to welcome Bobby, our newest apprentice. His addition to the NDC team underscores our commitment to nurturing and integrating fresh talent into our operations. We look forward to the value and perspective Bobby will bring to our firm!

Lots of travelling!
September included a strategic trip to London where I engaged in ten(!) client meetings, strengthening our partnerships and understanding client needs more deeply. I also travelled to Manchester for a conference where I learned some insights into the latest industry trends and best practices. I also took the opportunity to network with our favourite Irish accountant Clive Hand from Bluestone Accounting over a meal and a couple of beers!

100km walk for Sands
Rico and I walked 100km for Sands (the charity for sudden and neonatal death) this month; a charity that is very close to our hearts. Despite the combination of lots of travel and some unseasonably hot weather at the beginning of the month, we just about managed to hit the target with a day to spare. Many thanks to everyone that helped me raise a massive £440 for the charity.

In closing, September was a month of productive engagement and growth for NDC. Our dedication to excellence and client success remains unwavering as we move into the final quarter of the year.
